WrestlingReport’s
Pennsylvania Collegiate Wrestler for the 2000 Season

At the conclusion of each college wrestling season, WrestlingReport.com will select its Pennsylvania Collegiate Wrestler of the Year.  This annual recognition will go to a wrestler who is both a Pennsylvania native and competed for a Pennsylvania college or university.

The initial selection for Pennsylvania Collegiate Wrestler of the Year was made in April 2000, going to Penn State University's Jeremy Hunter.  Hunter had an excellent season, placing second in the Big Ten Tournament and highlighted by winning the 2000 NCAA Tournament at 125 pounds.  From West Alexandria, PA, Mr. Hunter completed the 2000 season with a record of 33-1.

Congratulations to Penn State's Jeremy Hunter, the WrestlingReport.com Pennsylvania Collegiate Wrestler of the Year for 2000.
