The Walsh Iron Man tournament starts today. Earning the number one seed at 132 is Cornell recruit Mark Grey. Earning the number two seed at 132 is Cornell recruit Alex Cisneros. Any predictions?

It makes me wonder why both will want to attend Cornell. They both cannot be at 133. One could go to 141 or even 149. But then they have to deal with Nevinger, Eifert, and, I guess, Villalonga.

You are assuming the will grow the same. Also, I'd say we don't have any mortal lock on a weight class up to Dake. Plus, its Cornell. Great university, fantastic coaches, a winning team with tremendous heart, a fun atmosphere, amazing support from fans and school administration, fantastic workout partners that will help you be the national champion if that is your goal, and really impressive teammates (academically and athletically). Why wouldn't anyone want to go anywhere else? :wink:

Edit: And Cisneros loses 6-2 to Bright in OT.

And Cisneros beats grey. Go figure. I wonder if they both red shirt/grey shirt with Araju and Richardson at 125 and 133.

I note that Cruz is, unfortunately, a dreaded Lehigh recruit. To bad it had too be one of those guys who soundly defeated Gray.
