What's up with Nickerson?

I see he is planning on going 132 lbs for the Henri Deglane tournament later this month in France? Any reason why he's not competing down at 123 lbs these days?

Troy's website says he was to compete in Canada last weekend; but it's not clear whether he did. He also says he's competing at the NYAC tourney this weekend. We'll see if he's there. He has not updated his blog in some time.

Maybe he needs to move up to 132 and get comfortable with that.

TN entered the NYAC Open at 132.

Does anyone know how he did. The finalists were publicized, but not the brackets. He was not a finalist.

TN had two matches at NYAC and lost by tech fall (6-0, 6-0) in BOTH. Sure looks like something is not right. He was also representing the FLWC rather than the NYAC.

Lewnes did well, going 5 and 2, including a 2 second pin (possibly a misprint?) and placing 4th (which, I think, was not quite good enough to qualify for the Olympic Trials.

I suspect that Nickerson has issues making the lower weight, and when he bumps up, he's just not strong enuf to deal with the strength issues involved when you move up a weight class.

Is Nickerson still looking to make the Olympic team?

As far as I can tell, he was not at Henri Delagne and was not in the Olympic qualifier in Vegas.

Also, he has not updated his blog in months.
