Bethlehm Catholic - Time to stir the pot

Postby 724qkacebs » Mon Dec 22, 2014 10:50 pm

Just some background on Bethlehem Catholic Not the new kids on the block. Won the PCIAAs a bunch of times in in the late 60's (after little Notre Dame's run of three in a row, ) and early 70s, before Catholic Schools allowed to participate in PIAA, Feeder program in the late 60's early 70s was the CYO league and East Penn Midgets - was pretty darn good. Fritz won NCAA and wrestled for Holy Ghost then went to Liberty, Tommy Sculley was at St Simon, Beca then Lehigh and an NCAA champ, Patty the same, EIWA champ, Mike Brown (4xaa) and brother Bernie Brown at St Cyril's, all Becahi feeder programs. Beca has a long tradition of not only home grown talent but kids that went "public". Beca won PIAAs outright in what 76 ? Long tradition with this school, certainly forgetting some but they have been around around a looooong time.

Becahi has a only a few graduating and room for about 4 more in their line-up for next year. I am hoping Klump, Sasso, Fidelibus and Jakobsen find their way to Becahi by next year. :-)
