BLOOMSBURG-The Bloomsburg University wrestling team won two matches by fall, but fell to Purdue by a score of 37-12 at the Nelson Field House on Friday night.

The Huskies picked up wins by fall from Andy Schutz (Exeter, Pa./Wyoming Area) at 133 pounds, as well as Dominic Carfagnno at 197, however the Boilermakers picked up four wins by fall and had a major decision to earn the win.

Schutz made a tremendous move to fight off an attempt for points by Luke Welch of Purdue. The he rolled up and over Welch and got the Purdue wrestler up on his shoulders for the quick pin.

Carfagno came out aggressively in his match and quickly got a takedown and scored a win by fall in just 32 seconds.

Bloomsburg, 0-4, is back in action on Sunday at the Keystone Classic in Philadelphia.
