Congratulations to Cam on his selection into the EIWA Hall of Fame.

A little-known fact about his incredible college career - He is the first wrestler in the storied history of the EIWA to have accomplished ALL of the following :
won four EIWA individual titles;
been a competitor on four EIWA championship teams;
won an NCAA individual championship.

I think we can guess who is the second, and who is the third, yet the obvious choice missed one of those three accomplishments.

We Cornell wrestling fans have been *so* blessed.

Cam will always be one of my favorite Cornell wrestlers - amazing how consistently he would just grind people into the mat, he MUST have had at least one extra lung! :D

Here's a little video memory - 2012 197 lb NCAA finals vs. Chris Honeycutt:

Congratulations, CAM, and well deserved!

Wait, is that a muddled quiz question? Dake famously lost to Kevin LeValley in EIWA finals. I don't believe Dean won 4 times. So, Garrett?? but who was 3rd?

Dake would be the "obvious" choice, but of course he did not as you indicated. Nahshon Garrett did indeed do it.

Yeah, Dean did it (and more):

NCAA Champion (2015, 2016)
NCAA All-American (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017)
NCAA Qualifier (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017)
EIWA Wrestler of the Year (2015, 2017)
EIWA Coaches Trophy (2015, 2017)
EIWA Sheridan Award (2016)
EIWA Rookie of the Year (2014)
EIWA Champion (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017)
Ivy League Wrestler of the Year (2015, 2017)
Ivy League Rookie of the Year (2014)
First-Team All-Ivy League (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017)
New York State Wrestler of the Year (2015)
New York State Freshman of the Year (2014)
New York State Champion (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017)

Beat Thomas (Penn), Brown (Lehigh), Miller (Navy), Coleman (Navy) in EIWA finals.

I thought my trivia expertise caught an error here but checked and Brett Matter missed it by that much. Win 4 EIWA titles, NCAA champ and led Penn to 3 titles but they came in 2nd to Lehigh his senior year.

I seem to recall Koll’s update describing young cam in practice as taking on multiple guys in tag team fashion and wrecking them all in terms of conditioning.

The key word is "first." Dean and Garrett did it too, but later.
