we are watching him soar in front of our eyes, better and better. Hoping he can grab the brass ring ... more than once!

Also, us regular posters need to get used to putting the first h in his name. Nahshon. Takes getting used to but I think we'll be writing it a lot!

I think Cornell even with the loss of Bosak and Dake has reloaded with a very promising stud. I too look forward to cheering on Nahshon as a rock solid start to what looks to be a very formidable line up next season! Well done! Congratulations!

^^I enjoy the BigRed Wrestling attitude - Look to the future rather than dream about the past. I absolutely think Cornell can win an NCAA tournament team title before too long.

Congrats on a great tournament by Garrett.

Beating McDonough and Waters is incredible!

Is it really true what they said on TV that he started wrestling in 10t grade-- and won the states in 11th grade? I read something like that said about one of the Schultz brothers, also from California, but I did not believe it (mostly b/c Schultz's older brother was already a college champ).

Also, people say that NG is a "big" 125. But to me Waters looked substantially bigger and Garnett at least a bit bigger.

Maybe there is still time to get the twin brother into wrestling!

I see him as not particularly big, but quite tall, which is one of the things that makes him dangerous. I hope he can maintain 125 for three more years, but he has the frame to fill out to a 133 pounder. JJH

Nahshon seems to just be scratching the surface of his potential. Combination of great motor and incredible athleticism. Here's hoping he stays healthy and builds on what he started this year. Looking forward to three more years with him leading off each dual! Maybe the next Cornell great in the making!!

He couldn't ride a school bus if he wanted to at the beginning of the season. I heard they were working with him on the basics of riding, like throwing legs, secure turns, etc.
