That was awesome! Nahshon Garrett, All American! And he did it the hard way, beating a 2x national champ, 3x finalist!

I haaaaaaaaaaaaaaate the way track wrestling just makes a match disappear when someone scores in SV. But I take it from scribe's last post that the news is good!!!!

Man, if Garrett had escaped one second faster in either the first or second it wouldn't have even gone to OT. Huge win!!!

WAY TO GO, NAHSHON!

Great double leg, ugarte. He went in and hook his hands to get mcd off balance and then slid up higher to take Mcd down to his ass like he was a sack of potatoes.

I tried to not yell, so as to not disturb the neighbors but I totally let it out.

Streaming on my desktop at work. I had to stiffle my excitement so I wouldn't get in trouble. WOW!

NG: Totally tough and totally dominant on the mat, with the late escape in the first to the rideout in the third. He was already equal with MM on his feet, but he has turned around the mat advantage that MM had in just three weeks since the Nat'l Duals.

I didn't hold back - lots of yelling from my computer. Luckily I'm working from home today and the wife & kids are out.

Durso got robbed, I think, not so much by the calls, but by the fact that the video reviews let Stieber catch his breath. Plus, Stieber was hanging on his leg at the end. Still, great match by the F&M kid.

BTW, the matches are on ESPNU today, not just the computer. They are showing the 2 best matches at each weight.

It was in progress - Nevinger racking up RT - and then it disappeared from Track. Someone got a pin or someone got hurt. I'm on pins and needles waiting for an update!

AND IT'S NEVINGER. Fall at 4:13. Up next is Hucke (Mizzou), who beat Vaith 6-2. As expected, winner gets Ballweg, who lost by MD to Maple.
