Wow, Jarrod Garnett just went down - clear the path for Nashon?

Nashon up now 5-0 early.

Montoya's got some seriously rubbery legs. Doesn't shoot, just defends.

Here is me yelling at the screen: "Dude, you just gave up the major!"

Nashon garrett hears me and hurries up for a takedown at the buzzer.

Not sure how to read the scoresheet - was the SW on Garrett or Montoya? I assumed that he gave up the E1 because it would be easier to get the MD by takedown after release than a NF if he got hit with a penalty point for stalling on top.

Watching Steiber in the tracker and it looks like what happens if you get a top wrestler pissed. Spisak got the first takedown. Steiber reversed him, tilted him, released him, took him down again. Spisak isn't giving up though. Looks like he has ridden Steiber for almost the whole 2d period.

I was watching the stream and Nashon just sort of let him go. Then he looked over to the clock and realized he had a few short seconds remaining, having giving away his riding time point with that escape. Made a quick shot for a takedown and would have pinned the kid with a few more seconds.

Nevinger/Neibert coming up now, mat 1. This one makes me nervous.

No score after 1.

So far Durso, Keith and Veith all win at 141.

Neibert doesn't get the memo; chooses bottom for second period against Nevinger but gets out after 1:04. ... and then the reversal in OT. uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh

Neibert 3-1 OT over Nevinger
