Youngstown Boardman Kickoff Classic is Sunday, October 14th!

Parents, Coaches, and Wrestlers- wrestling season begins Sunday, October 14th at the Boardman Kickoff Classic! For those looking to get a head-start on the competition for the upcoming season, look no further. Over the past five years this tournament has become THE cornerstone of preseason wrestling in Northeastern Ohio- drawing huge numbers of wrestlers from the Youngstown, Akron-Canton, Cleveland, and Western Pennsylvania areas. Youngstown Boardman High School is in Eastern Ohio, only 20 minutes from the Penn-Ohio border.

The Boardman Kickoff Classic is for wrestlers of all ages, from a 5-6 year old division through high school, and even a "Masters" Division for graduates. For the past five years turnout has been excellent in all divisions (more than 30 high school state qualifiers competed in each of the past five tournaments). Expect the same great competition once again this year!

A split start time and five full-sized mats will run all day to ensure that this tournament runs smoothly and quickly. We WILL start and run on time for all sessions! Youth Wrestlers will receive points toward the Ohio Wrestler "Top 20" Standings. Trophies will be awarded to top three place finishers who are 12 and under.
