Grantham, PA – With the College's annual Homecoming Day just hours away, Messiah College Athletics announced on Friday the 2016 induction class for the Falcons' Hall of Honor. Chris Roggie '00, Danae (Chambers) Hollenbach '06, and Hannah (Levesque) Leatherman '06 were all selected and will be formally inducted in a ceremony in January of 2016.

"Once again, we have a group of student-athletes that are more than qualified to join our Hall of Honor," Director of Athletics Jack Cole said. "Each year it gets harder and harder to select just three or four honorees. Chris, Danae, and Hannah really stood out, and we're excited to recognize them at the induction ceremony."

The Hall of Honor Induction Ceremony is scheduled for Jan. 8, 2016. The ceremony will take place on campus and inside of the newly-renovated Hostetter Chapel.

Tickets for the event are $30.00 and can be reserved here.

Below is a quick bio on each of the respective inductees:

Chris Roggie '00 – Wrestling

Roggie was a three-time NCAA All-American with the Falcons (1998, 1999, and 2000) and he finished as high as fourth place (2000) in the 165 lb. weight class. His 120 career wins are currently fourth-best all-time, and his 46 career falls are still good for third all-time. Roggie was also a four-time All-Conference wrestler, and in his senior year he helped the Falcons to a ninth-place finish at the NCAA Championships.

Danae (Chambers) Hollenbach '06 – Field Hockey

Chambers is arguably the most accomplished and skillful field hockey player in NCAA Division III history. She is, at the very least, the most prolific offensive player in Messiah history, as her 297 career points is currently second all-time in Division III. She was a four-time NFHCA First Team All-American and was named the 2004 National Player of the Year. Chambers was also four-time First Team All-Conference, and won the Conference Player of the Year award in each of her final three seasons. Chambers helped Messiah to four Conference Championships, three trips to the Division III Final Four, and two finishes as the National Runner-Up.

Chambers finished her career with 111 goals and 75 assists.

Hannah (Levesque) Leatherman '06 – Women's Soccer

Levesque was a two-time NSCAA All-American for the Falcons, and was apart of the program's first Division III National Championship in 2005. Her 38 career goals, 28 career assists, and 104 career points are all currently tied-ninth all-time. In her junior year alone she collected 19 goals and 12 assists. Levesque was also two-time NSCAA All-Region and two-time First Team All-Conference. In her time with the Falcons she helped the program to four Conference Championships, three Division III Final Fours, and a four-year record of 81-4-6 (.923).
