LIU Post fell to Notre Dame College 33-10. However, there were several competitive matches:

133 - #3 D. Barry (NDC) d. #1 J. Calderone (LIU) 11-6

141 - V. Turano (LIU) d. #3 A. Bannister (NDC) 13-4

149 - #2 I. DuOvarian (NDC) d. #6 M. Langdan (LIU) by fall

165 - E. Ramirez Jr. (LIU) d. #4 V. Periera (NDC) inj def.
At the time of injury Ramirez was up 13-4 late in the 3rd.

194 - #1 G. Lineberger (NDC) d. J. Horton (LIU) 4-1

285 - A. Patrick (NDC) d. #5 J. Louison (LIU) 6-4

I was impressed with both teams. NDC is good enough to compete at D1 level. Great coaching and great program. Although team score doesn't show it, LIU was competitive and in each match. Not bad for a second year proven!

I see that Joey Davis (112-0) is back in action and ranked #1 at 184.

I noticed earlier this year that Joe Paterno (LIU 125 lb) Freshman pinned Michael Fleck (#8 nationally) of Wilkes. He might be one to watch in Super Region One in the future.
