Wrestling survived.

It is always bad news for somebody when sports programs are cut. I am truly sorry for the student athletes, coaches, families, and fans.

We will never know for certain... but the passion and emerging excellence that Coach Stutzman has brought to UB's wrestling program undoubtedly played a part in decisions made.

Thanks to Coach Stutzman and his staff. UB wrestling is beginning to thrive and big things are coming for this program.

Coach Stutzman is passionately commited to the dual schedule -and- the individual success of wrestlers. Fans and athletic directors care a lot about duals. No weightclass forfeits in duals. Perhaps key to the future growth and health of D1 collegiate wrestling.

Wow I did not see that one coming. If we are looking at MAC schools that need help on changes we should look at EMU. They have lost several key recruits and wrestlers with minimal details from Boyard. Lost NCAA qualifier and multiple Mi state champs who he signed.

If you look inside the program he has created a full staff of yes men who all have CMU ties and all have same thought process and all wrestle same weights.
