In other business during last night's board meeting, directors agreed to hire Brandon Mikeska as the head wrestling coach, a position previously filled by Mark Mears.

Mikeska was hired by the district in July to fill a physical education teacher position.

He was an assistant wrestling coach at Greater Latrobe High School, where he taught physical education. He wrestled at Derry Area and at the collegiate level at Bloomsburg and Lock Haven universities.
