Postby D3 for LU » Mon Jan 01, 2018 10:26 am

First off, I just want to extend a very Happy New Year to all my fellow Hawkineer forum posters as well as all other posters on WR.com.
Less than 35 mins till "Go-time"... hope all B&W team members are loose (Physically as well as mentally) & ready to compete!
(OH, yeah! 8) )

Happy New Year!

I was hoping to see Farro and Lane go today along with the others. Good to see iron horse Ammerman representing at 184.

For Farro dropping down to 125, it appears it was a bridge too far? :o

DC had a challenge of a bout w/ the tall Cannon after giving up an early 2 td... but wound up owning the 2nd pd, eventually getting the fall!

Try another browser, Leggs?
Meanwhile, 1st upset of the tourney... unfortunately it had to happen against the Hawkineers, as AirForce's Jimenez just won in SV over Parker.
(Jimenez looked like a 141 pounder, melted down to 133... he was huge... played a smart match to say at least.)
Not a good way to start.
twhib should of put this match as one of his "upset specials."

Was not expecting that. The only silver lining is that it's better now than in March.

I've got the matches up on Chrome on my MacBook. Although Flo has the scores and mats mixed up (e.g., Colluci's match wasn't on the mat they said, but the score displayed was for that mat...I think).

Well Resnick won with two nice barrel roles for Td's. Maybe not silver lining, but nice.

Herring was in a pickle right from the start.

Karam is coming up on mat 3.

Just looked on the AirForce wrestling roster... they DO list Isaac Jimenez, Jr. as 133.
Past history/record looks unremarkable, but he appears LARGE for that weight.

It would be an upset if Legger was able to log in to an event without issues. Technology is not your friend.
