I've been pointing out to Gimp for a couple of years that Flo has problems with their OT designations. Every bout that went to rideouts in the 2016 EIWA tournament was reported as tb2; no way that's correct. Sounds like they're working on it.

You're correct, I was remembering the rule wrong. Pomrinca escaped faster in both tiebreaker sets, so he must have won on time and the table didn't know how to note it.

BTW, does anyone know the last time a Lehigh freshman won the first three tournaments he entered? Matt Parker's done that now; he's 11-0.

Sounds like the bout result was initially incorrect. Colucci won by med forfeit and won the tourney.

Burley only wrestled in two tournaments as a freshman, but he won them both.

Jeez, just two tournaments. Thad took it easy on his guys back then.

Those two tournaments were EIWA/NCAA.

I don't believe we counted preseason events back then. The earliest matches listed that year were on 12/2. The ESU Open archives only go back to 1986 (I ran them back into the 70s but...)
