lol ... but I haven't seen 174 since '85. "Could" make 184. Whale's a cool dude but would need a restoration of the unlimited wt class

Came down 15 lbs from football season------in those days of old when knights were bold off/def lineman were mostly under 200 lbs.

Guys are bigger these days and I'm certainly part of that trend.

Happy Thanksgiving to all

Got my collegiate era sized appropriately. Used to walk around at about 160-165. 149 would be about the right cut. Can't say that I'll ever see it again - and I was a career HS lightweight (98 frosh; 119-112 as a senior).

If legger can't go 184, I will. Will need to lose 3-4 pounds. Oh wait, Thursday is Thanksgiving. Will need to lose 8-9 pounds.

An early Happy Thanksgiving to all! :D

 125?!?
DEFINITELY the right size at least...
Last time I saw that weight was just before Coach Hutch asked me to wrestle 129lbs at an away dual @ Admiral Farragut in '75!!!
(One of my two matches that I would wrestle @ Blair when I was a PG...) I was OVER weight and I was in the room loosing weight along w/ fellow teammate Tony Perez.)
By the time I got on the scales the following Saturday afternoon, I was weighing a drawn out 125... last known time I was ever at 125. :o
As of now... I would need some "weight" allowance (as most of use would, anyweigh. :P )
D3

ps... oh, by the way... I won my match!

The Perfect Lineup
124 Darian C
131 S Parker
138 L Karam
145 C Schuyler
152 Ian B (Kent Lane if Ian can’t make the Weight)
159 C Walters (Not sure GFW, Or Drew Longo can make Weight)
167 Kutler
176 Ryan P
188 Weiler
208 Jake (Colucci?)
285 Wood
Of course to go to 11 weights it would probably take an $100,000,000 donation (bribe?) to the NCAA) Plus a $1-1.5 M donation to each D1 program. 50-67% of that that to each D2 School, and half that to D3. (including donations for women).

I don't think Colucci's going to feel too comfortable at 208. He's a tall guy.

I actually don't thinks so either, but thought I would through him in as he was a 220 guy.

Also I don't know about CS making 145.

Calootch is 6'4"' in the high 250's; Wood weighed in at 254 Fri; Lacombe around the same this Fall.

For whoever argued with me last season that Adam Coon was nowhere near 270: he weighed in at 280.6 on Sunday. Quickest guy I've ever seen that heavy.

In Jan '67, I cut 10 lbs in 3 hrs for IMS (running 4 flrs of Richard Dorm steps + rest of the time in hot shower; nothing else those 3 hrs), made 150 only to have the best IM wrestler claim the weight; with next 3 weights taken, had to move to 170 so I ate two ice cream sundaes + dinner w/rolls, weighed in at 167 (LBF to strongest kid on LU fr team butting from 195; leg pressed 700 lbs)..... the soph year I cut 16 lbs in 4 DAYS .... and learned how much worse that was than the prior year. Was a LBF to Billy Sunda, a 2x VA 1st who pinned all 5 to win OW; my pin barely counted toward OW; was in Rd 2; I recall shooting a "single leg" and noticing him smiling. And why not?

Coon made Wood look like the lightest 254lbs ever. Wessell needs to introduce Jordan to the weight room.

**** Jordan already has re-made his body from when he came in as a true frosh (more solid and less around the middle). Give him another year or so with the strength coach and he will be just fine. BTW, he is the only frosh that is ranked, so next year some upper classmen will be gone. Me, I am looking forward to 4 years with Jordan being our finisher.
