LU in NJ wrote:no surprise their SID posted a quick write up

My guess is that their SID was in his or her office back in Ann Arbor, typing up the release as the meet progressed. Our SID was in Grace watching the dual and interviewing wrestlers and coaches afterwards; the actual wrestling ended around 3 and the write up was posted at 4:18 PM. Exactly how many minutes late does anyone with sense think Steve's release was?

Nice! Would be even better if you got the final score right. 27-8, Lehigh.

pretty sure you get the picture. Brighten up a bit. Tough challenges ahead for this team. Some health dings as usual, PSU dead ahead, always dangerous emerging Cornell team. Surely LU will have their moment (like the away Michigan meet last year) where the future gets questioned.
However, this squad has the smell of something special attached to it. Between this Mich match and the upcoming featured PSU dual it should be clear that Lehigh's program is right in the middle of the national scene so spend a little more time celebrating the victories and a little less bitching. Mountain Hawk has not seen Grace like that for a long time. The pre-match tribute with Mike Caruso hugging Bob Fehrs at center mat was truly special and seemed to set the mood for the day. If you're among those who have stayed away from Grace recently, you may want to reconsider.

It's difficult to think of anything negative about Lehigh Wrestling or anything attached to it yesterday. The team was ready and fired up, they fought with dignity and poise, the staff was great. Does anyone look at the stands on the Patriot League Network when they have away matches? The stands are nearly empty, not much response after each match and some really sad commentary by people who don't have a clue, hence "pinfall". Yesterday, Lehigh ranked number 10, upended Michigan, ranked number 4 by a score of 27-8, and the stands were packed with informed screaming fans. The guys upset 3 top 10 wrestlers and the ones they didn't upset went home tired and demoralized.

I LIKED IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GP

Couldn't make it down two straight weekends from up here in WNY but for anyone who was there......

What was the deal with Aboundar vs. Preisch when Michigan wrestler was throwing his hands in the air and staring at his coach/ref during match?? Anybody have any clue?

He wanted his coaches to throw the challenge brick because he felt he had a TD. Coaches ignored him, never a good thing just ask Joe Girardi.

Probably the best dual meet performance I've seen from Lehigh in 20 years of following college wrestling. Up and down the lineup, the team was absolutely ready to go.
