That sounds like it has to be the 1913 season. He wrestled the first 4 bouts, then was replaced for the last dual and the post-season tournament.
I don't think any of us have even the slightest clue.

Ah! The IWAs, before the E became necessary.

Definitive nope.

In his match against Montgomery of Columbia he was pinned in the extra time period, then came back to win by pinning in less time when he got the chance to start on top?

How old do you think Jack is, anyway?

Nope.

A couple of guesses

He played a year of college football prior to entering college and lost a year of eligibility?
Also, was an "L" man--not sure what that was, but he likely was the first wrestler to be one
Lehigh Bulletin 1914-1915

He also competed at the Panama-Pacific Exposition in San Fransisco, 1915--I'm sure the only Lehigh wrestler to do that.

He was an assistant coach for football at Northwestern after college

Doing this research is better then watching the stinker of a Super Bowl.

From one of my earlier posts: "pertains to Lehigh wrestling".

From the first post in this thread: "The answer will be published in the 2017-2018 Lehigh Wrestling Club Pre-season Mat Wrap, which can be had for the bargain price of FREE (with a paid membership in the Lehigh Wrestling Club)."

**** You can tell it was a slow wrestling week for Lehigh in that there were 69 responses to a question of some remote event involving a Lehigh wrestler from 1913. I will join the Wrestling Club like I do every year for the Mat Wrap and other benefits, but I really don't care what the answer to the question is.

Anxiously awaiting the Mat Notes on Thursday to see who will be back in the lineup for LU and if we have resolution of the 165 situation. Bring on Army and whoever from the B1G.

Agree. Although I took a stab at an answer, I no longer give a damn about something that some dude did back in the 1910s. I suspect we'll see Minotti v USMA, allowing him to get his senior night recognition. After that, I would think we'll see Walter as the starter.
