Other than Sprague's first counter, that was Cort's bout the whole way. It'll probably bump Sprague out of the rankings but Schuyler won't move up.

Hong's a true freshman, ranked 88th overall by Intermat last year.

Nice win by Brown. Jeez, I hate those mandated scoring calls!

GFW should dominate, just has to avoid getting careless.

Is Kutler the first Lehigh wrestler who's taller than his opponent?

Navy leading Maryland 13-6 through 165. AJ Alford, not Jadaen Bernstein, is wrestling 174 for the Mids.

Alford wins by fall, though, so they didn't miss him.

Joined the Patriot League Network video feed just as LoMan was wrapping up the starting line-ups.

First thing I heard was that Lehigh "was prepared to move Kutler up a weight, and split Wolf and Longo at 165 and 174 if need be."

Thought "ought-o"

Maybe not.

I certainly didn't expect a win by 30 tonight. American was missing Terao and we won a couple of close ones. Our walking wounded came through.

Navy's beating up on Maryland tonight. Sunday will be harder.

Anyone catch what the -1 team point for AU was for? I was paying more attention to Maryland-Navy on another screen at the time.

>>>>>>Per Loman, the team penalty point was on AU's coach for the 141 match ------ probably over the first stall warning that contributes to AU's stalling pt in OT.

Similar outcome to last year's dual--------AU only wins one bout with a close come-from-behind decision.

AU is a solid program and has some nice dual wins to their credit, but a top ten Lehigh team was too strong top to bottom.

Great seeing Farrro and Price win in Grace Hall. Team depth really pays off in dual meets over a long season.

It's a great time to be a Lehigh wrestling fan.

That is correct. The 141 bout was the 5th bout of the match, and after that the AU coach came onto the mat jawing at the ref, That is when he signaled the bench infraction.

Schuyler was taller than Sprague. How did the latter beat #4 Heilmann who's legit?

How did UNC lose to AU on Tar Heel home mat, then take Rutgers to criteria before 3,511 in NJ? Michigan took Nolf, Hall & Nickal to the hilt.

Which is why predictions often seem more than iffy. I didn't pick us by 30 but felt it would be big.

**** In the Lehigh Valley it is called simply Cement Job. There are a number of variations (Flying CJ, Concrete Special and others) but they are all based on the basic CJ. I recall one afternoon at practice, when Tommy Rohn was on the team, coach had him do a training for the team members. Tommy made a big point on the important thing was to get a good grip on the opponents chin. Once you had that the opponent either went over or they got hurt. Many already knew it from Lehigh Valley connections. Tommy learned it from his dad Don who in turn learned it from Wade Schalles while at Clarion.

Definitely! And I'm willing to bet I won't see you and scribe in the same time and place. :) Unfortunately, gonna miss half the Cambridge season by being tied up this weekend. Feb. 3rd. is Harvard's only other home action. Hope you're doing well and your son is still having fun with his wrestling...
