Lacombe finished 3rd in NJ last year at 220 lbs with something like 18 pins on the year.

I wonder how many diamonds in the rough will come out of this recruiting class.

Wally's newsletter (If I remember correctly) incorrect lists lists Pete Schuyler as a non-state champ, pretty sure he won as a Jr.

A special note should go to Tom Toggas who never qualified for PIAA states, but was a 3 time EIWA champ, and round of 12 at least once.

**** I enjoyed watching Tom Toggas. He was not the most skilled wrestler, but he was fearless and had an almost caveman style. Just go in and grab the guy and overpower him.

Any way Victor can make 197?

Don't know for sure but I doubt it. He was a 220 and hc didn't have a 195 at States.

Sophomore year he split between 285 and 220. Last two years at 220. Kids that age grow, so I doubt it.
