Penn State - Oklahoma State Dual

Postby dxj0knd » Fri Feb 03, 2017 9:30 pm

Can someone explain how Intermat can rank Oklahoma State #1 over Penn State in their dual rankings?
125 #2 Nick Suriano MD over #12 Nick Piccininni, PSU 4 OS 0
133 #3 Kaid Brock MD over George Carpenter, PSU 4, OS 4
141 #1 Dean Heil dec over #11 Jimmy Guilibon, PSU 4, OS 7
149 #1 Zain Rutherford MD over #3 Anthony Collica PSU 8 OS 7
157 #1 Jason Nolf MD over #6 Joe Smith, PSU 12 OS 7
165 #4 Vincenzo Joseph dec over #7 Chandler Rogers PSU 15 OS 7
174 #7 Mark Hall dec over #9 Kyle Krutchmer, PSU 18 OS 7
184 #2 Bo Nickal dec over #6 Nolan Boyd, PSU 21 OS 7
197 #8 Preston Weigel dec over #9 Matt McCutcheon PSU 21 OS 10
285 #3 Nick Nevills dec over #6 Austin Schafer PSU 24 OS 10

Not even close using Intermat's individual rankings. Take away PSU bonus points and still end up PSU 21 OS 10.
Penn State just rolled over Ohio State - Oklahoma State is next.

I'd take McCutcheon over Weigel at 197, and I think Nolf wins maybe even by technical fall over Smith, and I think Nickal probably pins Boyd at 184. I'd give Brock a fall over Carpenter at 133. Otherwise, yeah, I don't think it'll be too much closer than our dual with Iowa was. Somewhere around 27-10 range.
