I'm not a fan of taking Hall off of redshirt. I don't think he's big enough right now at 174, and it doesn't look like he's consistent enough at the moment, either. Oh well, it's done now. I'm hoping that tonight's match was more nerves than anything else. Mark looked good in the first, looked tentative and gassed in the second and third. Nice duck under in the third period, but you have to be able to ride guys out in college and secure the win. Hall smashed Crutchmer, who smashed Meyer last weekend. Not sure where that puts Mark in the rankings, but he has some tough matches coming up, including in two weeks against #1 Bo Jordan (if Jordan decides to wrestle).

Not to mention Iowa is going to lose next week to Ohio State as well! Three losses in a row for Iowa! The Brands brothers are going to throw a temper tantrum!

I'd give Ohio State 133, 141, 174, 184, 197, and 285, with a maybe at 149 (Jordan vs. Sorensen should be good). I don't see how Iowa wins this dual, unless guys in the OSU lineup are missing (like Bo Jordan, who has barely wrestled this season).

Pretty sure he will be there. He's not traveling with the United States team to Paris, so I'm guessing he's going to be wrestling against Iowa. Otherwise, he'd be going with the US team to the Grand Prix.

It will be a heck of a commute. He's representing the USA at Ivan Yarygin that weekend.

so now we've cleared that up, Iowa and tOSU dual could come down to battle of the back-ups at heavy. Not sure who the Buckeyes will have, think Tavanello is hurt.

Didn't realize the Yarygin was the same weekend as the Grand Prix. Not sure who the Ohio State backup is, but the Iowa wrestler that they put out against Nevills last week wasn't very good (big though).

Holloway was 197 wrestling up for Iowa. Weighed in at 217 per Byers for the dual with PSU.
